Press Release

40 YEARS OF SILENCE BROKEN

Las Vegas, Nevada-November 18, 2007

First time author Marie Coppla has joined the ranks of the literary community by writing her first book Breaking The Silence…A Survivor’s Story and publishing it through LuLu.com.

As an incest trauma survivor she struggled emotionally during adulthood by sinking into the abyss of self recrimination and unworthiness. The author documents her feelings during these turbulent times through poetry.

The author states that poetry is a special gift that should not be wasted. The book is located at www.lulu.com/content/370465.

This is awesome, Marie. You should be proud. I remember when I first published my book (2003) I was so excited.

How is LuLu.com? Are they good? Do they put you through barnesandnoble.com and all the other online bookstores? I went with Xlibris.com and I got a lot for my money :)

Hey, this is great! I hope the two of you continue this blog. I hope you will also consider submitting some poetry to the poetry category of the BLOG CARNIVAL AGAINST CHILD ABUSE (or any other writing/blog posts you see fit). I know for me, poetry has especially been helpful in my healing as it really helps me express feelings. Blessing and best wishes to you with the book and the blog!

It appears that anonymous has no life...where are your balls as you don't have the balls to show your face or your name.

COWARD!

I have to admit that you are a very good poet. I've written one poem in my life and that is it!

Where is Marie anyways? I am getting worried.

hi Marie, not only is God showcasing the gifts He's given you, but you're ministering to a lot of people thru your blogposts and thru your book. since i don't see the negative comments here someone was leaving, that means you've deleted them, but don't let the naysayers discourage you in any way from fulfilling the will, purpose, and plans that God has ordained for your life. He took a bad period of time in your life and turned it around so that now you're a healed woman of confidence, reaching out and sharing with millions across the world. stay encouraged!!! hugs & many blessings!

It sounds like your the one with anger in your soul and maybe you need to find something better to do with your time. The more you comment the more pathetic you sound.
